The AJC Political Insider suggests that if Clinton does poorly in New Hampshire next week, it is quite likely that Georgia will be where she tries to rescue her campaign. (South Carolina is probably more hospitable to Obama.) This would make it quite likely that Obama, Clinton and Edwards would all come the Democratic Party of Georgia’s Jefferson-Jackson Dinner in Atlanta on January 30th.
Georgia was the first primary that Bill Clinton won in 1992. This morning, the Clinton campaign put out a list of prominent Georgians who support her, and her Georgia office opened yesterday. The Obama campaign is paying attention. They already have an office in Atlanta, and now they are looking for offices in Savannah, Augusta, Athens, Macon, Albany, Columbus, and Decatur.
